How it works
Market closing lines
We keep the closing price of every settled market we collect. That is what the models are fitted to and measured against.
One model per league
Team strength, home edge, surface and rest are solved so the model lands on the closing lines it has already seen.
Every fixture gets a price
A fair price, a full ladder and a simulation for each upcoming match, re-run as results and closing lines come in.
Outright pricing
Rating shifts from closing-line history
For every league we have a distribution of how much ratings have moved over 4, 8 and 16 week spans, taken from the closing lines we have already stored. Outright simulations draw from that distribution instead of freezing today's number.
Downside is bigger than upside
A team priced at the top has less room to improve than to fall: injuries, schedule, regression and motivation all pull one way. Our outright prices shade favourites and lengthen the pack accordingly, which is where early outright markets are most often wrong.
Re-run with every update
Season and tournament simulations run again each time the model updates, so outright prices move with the closing lines.
Who it's for
Sharp bettors
Check any bookmaker's price against the model's fair price before you take it. A gap is a reason to look, not a guarantee.
Hobby bettors
See what the odds you are offered should be before you bet.
Bookmakers and trading desks
An independent early line for lower leagues and thin markets where the sharp market is late or absent. API access on request.
